3 Different driving programs
The FER-1300 electric wheelchair has three different driving programs so that you can reach your destination safely and without assistance.
In "Normal mode" you drive over meadows and fields, in the forest, the mountains and even on the sandy beach. When you drive up or down a ledge, the FER-1300 electric wheelchair detects the incline and levels your seat. So you always sit safely and comfortably.
Here you automatically switch to «caterpillar mode». Thanks to the four caterpillars in a slight W-shape, you have much more stability and safety when climbing stairs than with the conventional models with two caterpillars. Even user errors are corrected if steered in the wrong direction. An error-prone action, which could be dangerous, is prevented from being carried out any further. The sensor corrects such an action by swinging in or driving back, so that you can safely continue driving in the correct mode at any time. Even if for some reason the batteries should run out, that doesn't mean that you stand still! You can unlock both engines
and gently descend the stairs.
At home and on completely flat terrain, you can switch to «energy-saving mode».
This allows you to maneuver in the tightest of spaces while also saving energy.

The FER-1300 electric wheelchair has four drive wheels and a caterpillar drive with four caterpillars in a slight W shape for climbing. The advantages of this model can also be attributed to its compact dimensions. The vehicle is 65cm wide and only 86cm long without footrests and 105cm with footrests. The weight of the all-terrain vehicle is only 98kg!
General information
The innovative combination of wheel and chain drive helps the wheelchair user to be as independent as possible. Normal mode is used for comfortable driving on the road, and the crawler belt is needed for climbing stairs and curbs. Pneumatic wheels allow the FER-1300 electric wheelchair to be used in light off-road conditions and exceeding
Thresholds up to 5cm.
FER electric wheelchairs are suitable for people of all ages with cervical and spinal injuries, cerebral palsy, lower extremity injuries and other musculoskeletal disorders. Comfort
As with all FER Series wheelchairs, the user can:
• Fold the chair back almost 180 degrees
• Change the angle of inclination of the footrests - when the backrest of the chair is fully folded and the footrests are raised, the FER-1300 electric wheelchair turns into a bed
• Adjust the height of the headrest, armrests and footrests
• Set the required joystick sensitivity
• Adjust the angle of inclination of the seat relative to the horizon by pressing the buttons on the control panel
Safety
Built-in gyroscopes automatically keep the user in a horizontal position and level the chair regardless of the stair angle. The unique 4-track design guarantees a reliable hold even on rounded and broken steps and completely prevents the electric wheelchair from spontaneously rolling when climbing stairs.
The FER-1300 electric wheelchair has a software algorithm to stabilize the wheelchair on the stairs. In other words, the device automatically aligns itself on the stairs when it is tilted to the side, blocking the user's actions if they intentionally or accidentally put themselves in an unsafe position. However, the user can reverse at any time and/or continue in the correct position.
Braking system and shutdown
The FER-1300 electric wheelchair is equipped with electromagnetic brakes, which means complete blocking of movement in the event of accidental or forced power failure. When the FER-1300 electric wheelchair is without power, it can be switched to manual transport mode. The design provides for special transport handles for this purpose.
Safety seat belts
Optionally, the FER-1300 electric wheelchair can be equipped with 2 or 4-point safety belts.
Transport of the electric wheelchair
The backrest of the FER-1300 electric wheelchair can be folded down. This allows the FER-1300 electric wheelchair to be transported in crossover vehicles. With the FER-1300 you can also ride in trains in special carriages and fly in airplanes.
The motors can be turned off by turning the switches under the seat 90 degrees. It is also possible for an attendant to push the FER-1300 electric wheelchair using the handles.
